The Technology installer places HJ Templates into the Yearbook>Desktop Templates folder on your hard drive. You can also use the HJ Planner Assistant plug-in to build your templates in InDesign.
You should customize a template for your yearbook before actually designing any of your pages. To customize your yearbook template if you do not use HJ Planner Assistant:
• Open InDesign
• Click File > Open
• Navigate to the Desktop and double-click the Yearbook folder to open it
• Double-click the Desktop Templates folder
• Double-click the HJ Template you installed for your book size. Be sure to use the correct template size for your book:
If your book is 7 3⁄4" x 10 1⁄2", use the HJ Template Size 7. If your book is 8 1⁄2" x 11", use the HJ Template Size 8 . If your book is 9" x 12", use the HJ Template Size 9 .
